Registration is now open for Season 1 of Euro Duel League. This can be considered a warm up for ECL.

LEAGUE SYSTEM
This time we are using a system where each player can choose any map (within reason) as their 'home map'. Everyone plays everyone else in their division on each others home maps. So a match will be played on two map - your maps and their map. The scoring is simple:

1 point for a home win.
2 points for an away win.

This system is clearly biased towards away wins so be sure to pick a map that you are very good on. At the end of the season the player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, frags are used to determine the winner. If there is still a tie, away frags count as double. After that we'll think of something.

In each division we aim to have 6-8 players. This small amount is to ensure completion in time. The amount of divisions will depend on the number of sign ups.

MAP CHOICE
You must post your map choice when you register. Any ridiculous maps will not be allowed. Any maps chosen just for fun will not be allowed. The map must be a duel map. The settings are OS. FRAGS ARE 50 FOR ALL MAPS - NOT NEGOTIABLE.

The usual rules apply. No aliasing is permitted. Any form of cheating is banned as will be the perpetrators.

Sign ups: 4/7/10 - 14/7/10
League Start: 15/7/10
League End: 15/9/10

You should be aiming for 1 match a week. Obviously we will be lenient with holidays and things, but you should try to get some out of the way if you know you will be away. Anyone who does not get their games played may get point deductions.
